You can now white-label Dock workspace URLs with your own website domain.

To help you better integrate Dock into your brand and product experience, customers on our Enterprise plan can now use custom domains for Dock workspaces.

This means you can use your own company URL in your shared Dock links instead of the default dock.us domain.

For example…

  • instead of yourcompany.dock.us
  • your workspace URLs can be portal.yourcompany.com
You can customize both your domain name and subdomain

By using both custom branding and a custom domain, you can create a more white-labeled customer experience in Dock.

How to set up a custom domain in Dock

Once you’re on our Enterprise plan, setting up your custom domain only takes a few minutes.

Just head to Settings > Objects > Custom Domain

Here, you can specify what you want your custom domain to be (e.g. portal.discoverdock.com).

Your Custom Domain settings are available from Settings > Objects > Custom Domain

From there, we give you the CNAME record info so you can set up the subdomain with your DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, NameCheap). We highly recommend that you pull in a member of your IT team to manage this configuration.

Once you’ve set this up in your DNS provider, it can take up to 24 hours to verify that it's connected (but it can take as little as 15 minutes).

👉 Check out our Help Center for full instructions on setting up your custom domain.

Share a workspace with a custom domain

When you share a workspace, the link to the Shared view will now be customized to the domain you've configured in your settings.

In this example, our custom domain is discoverdock.com

Any existing workspace links will redirect to your new custom domain.

One last important note: the custom domain will not impact how you access the Dock backend or any of the links to a workspace’s Internal/Editor view. These will still all be on the dock.us domain. Only the Shared, customer-facing workspace view will be impacted by the custom domain.

Want to set up your custom domain?

In addition to custom domains, our Enterprise plan gives you access to:

  1. HubSpot and Salesforce integrations
  2. Custom CRM fields
  3. Custom branding
  4. Single sign-on (SSO)
  5. Teams, roles & permissions
  6. Dedicated customer success and implementation

If you’re interested in using custom domains, please reach out to [email protected] or message us in-app and we’ll help get you started.
