Dock action plans can be used to manage many different types of projects.

Enterprise sales teams use Dock to align buyer teams around mutual action plans. Customer implementation teams use Dock to onboard new customers. Agencies use Dock to share production schedules and deliverables.

Based on customer feedback, we’ve revamped our action plans to better fit our customer needs and closer match traditional project management software.

Here’s an overview of the updates:

Task Cards

Each task opens  to a side-panel card. This update makes it easier for customers to access information, share comments, and upload files.

Subtasks

Each task can now have subtasks. This makes managing complex projects much easier and provides a more streamlined experience for customers.

Action Buttons

We’ve added the ability to add call-to-action buttons for any task or subtasks. There are three different button types:

Links

Turn any link into an action and give custom button copy.

A few popular examples:

  • Book a meeting
  • Sign a contract
  • Read documentation

File Download

Give customers files they need to download

File Request

Ask customers to upload specific files

These new features will enable Dock users to better collaborate with customers around shared project plans.
